An extraordinary set of eight 9in. handpainted barnyard animal plates by Brown, Westhead and Moore circa 1870. Very unusual and rare because of the subject matter and the size of the painting. The painter, George Pedersen, used the whole center of the plate to portray these animals in their rustic environment. The condition is pristine.
